Ivor Novello (1893-1951) as Pierre Boucheron in “The Rat” (1924). He certainly has to rank amongst the best looking actors of the 1920s!
Sorry I haven’t been around much this weekend…I’m busy pulling together things for the lecture, as a lot of pieces need to be photographed. The most wonderful beaded day dress and matching coat has just arrived and I’m trying to work out how I can photograph it to even begin to do justice to it as a piece of textile art.
