I often get asked about plus-size vintage, or good repros, or sewing patterns. Here’s the lady who has all three!
New Vintage Lady is well known in vintage circles for her impeccable style (she’s also ridiculously talented, not just as a designer and seamstress, but as an illustrator - the picture above and those illustrating the patterns on her website are all her work!).
If you follow through to her store, she has original vintage patterns, reproduction patterns, and some reproduction pieces that she has completed (including hats)…and there are plenty of plus-size pieces she has made there, from the teens through to the 1940s, with some particularly lovely 20s and 30s styles (for all those who think that the 1920s don’t suit curves, she has designs to change your mind!).
