Beautifully staged…I’d love to know if this is a genuine vintage piece or a pastiche. There are just a couple of elements that make me thinks it’s a very well done more contemporary image - would love to know for certain.

Aha! Thank you! It is well done - the faces aren’t quite right, and while women did sometimes knot their opera length pearl necklaces, it was quite rare - I’ve never seen it done in a nude erotica pieces. It would also be more typical for the necklaces to just be worn simply as single strands rather than double looped. I’d say there’s a great deal of Alfred Cheney Johnston involved in how they’ve arranged the fabrics and jewelry - someone has been studying “Lost Beauties of the Jazz Age” . Overall, a very good job.
