La Lantelme!
Just had a very near miss…I had a postcard of Mlle Lantelme on watch, but hadn’t organised my snipe bid before going away for the weekend to a friend’s place. I just happened to check my mail this morning and saw a warning that the auction was ending soon…raced over and found it only had 5 mins to go! Got my bid in and won the card (there were two other bidders, but it didn’t go too high…the auctioneer didn’t seem to have done their research or know who she was).
I’ll scan and post the card when it arrives.
