Adelaide Hall (1901 – 1993) - you know how I feel about a woman in a top hat!
One of the performers who got their big break in Shuffle Along, Adelaide enjoyed success in the US and Europe, but finally found her home in the UK where, a very popular performer, she lived from 1938 until her death at the age of 92.
