Kittyinva: Maurice was a fine dresser. Note the double-breasted suit jacket, tie pin and hat arranged at a masculine, but jaunty angle.

It was fascinating to read Mistinguett’s take on their relationship in her bio. although I suspect she was less than entirely candid - even so,it’s evident that their affair had a lasting impact on her. And yes, he could certainly dress!
